Our Story

  • Formed in 1976, Bay Ridge Center provides onsite and in-home meals, services, and programs for adults 60 years and older in southwest Brooklyn.

  • Expanded health and wellness and technology (senior-friendly, in-home technology) Programming.

  • Established Age-friendly Bay Ridge (community movement to support aging in place and remain in their community, make modifications) NORC

  • COVID forced the agency to move quickly to providing online programming to ensure members were engaged and their needs were met, and actively became a COVID hub to ensure members were vaccinated and had health information about the virus.

  • As the Bay Ridge Center expands to meet community need we need your help in raising funds to expand our center and the services we offer.
